Want a wonderful wedding reception? An awesome anniversary party? A cool corporate celebration? A super school dance or class reunion? You've come to the right place. Starrlite Music will provide exactly the kind of music that will make your evening perfect. Dinner music that sets an atmosphere without overwhelming your guests' conversation. Dance music that will pull them out on the floor. Music from whatever era and style you like - the big band era, swing, the 50's, 60's, 70', 80's, 90's or today. Motown, country, Christian, or disco. I'll even play that special song from your own personal CD collection. Before all that happens, of course, I get together with you to learn all about your plans and ideas. I'll offer suggestions, but my goal is to make your evening turn out just the way YOU want it to be. We'll discuss your timetable, what announcements you want and when, what kind of music you want, the age groups that will be there. We'll talk about any fun group dances you'd like - the YMCA, Hokey Pokey, Electric Slide, Cha Cha Slide, Chicken Dance, or many others. After our planning session, there will be no surprises. You'll know the cost. I never charge extra for any special equipment, unless I have to rent a generator. There are never any extra fees, unless I have to travel more than 40 miles from my Office located in Oak Grove, a northern suburb in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. Perhaps most important, you'll know that the DJ who shows up at your event is the same one you talked to initially. That's because I have no employees or trainees. You'll get me, Mike Starr, the owner of Starrlite Music. My years of experience mean that I know how to make sure your evening flows smoothly from one stage to the next, that I will interact with your guests in a professional manner, and that I'll give you a 110% effort to make sure everyone has fun! Frequently Asked Questions of StarrLite MusicWhat is the BEST way I can guarantee your services for a particular date?Ask any event planner and they will tell you to schedule immediately and to have a "second-best" date available. Reserve your Disc Jockey as far in advance as possible even 10-12 months, especially for the months of June, July and August as well as during the Holidays. Because much like reserving your church, reception hall, and caterer, the DJ may have an event scheduled for that particular day, otherwise you may lose your special date.
How much do you charge for your services?
What are the hidden charges in your fee of $775.00? The only extra fees would be if I had to rent a generator for an event where no power is available, such as an outdoor event, or, unless I have to travel more than 40 miles from my Office located in Oak Grove, a northern suburb in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. I'll be happy to provide you with a quote for your event if either of these charges is necessary.
